Hendry 24-Hour Release Status
The Hendry County Sheriff's Office inmate search is the official online starting point. It is not a 24-hour release log. The alphabetical results mix records whose custody field is IN with records marked OUT. The list shows a name, image, a detail link, and a status-notification action. A detail can add an HCSO inmate ID, physical descriptors, booked date and time, charges, bond information, and the custody label.
No official HCSO filter, button, or endpoint labeled as releases from the last 24 hours was found during the research review. More importantly, the detail record does not state the release timestamp, release reason, or destination. An OUT label supports the narrow conclusion that HCSO no longer held the person when the system reflected that status. It does not show whether the person posted bond, completed time, entered another jail, went to FDC, or moved into ICE custody.
Check Hendry Same-Day Releases
A same-day inquiry begins with the public status, then moves to the source that can prove the event. Save the exact Eastern start and end times before asking for a list. This prevents a vague request for “today” from changing meaning after midnight. - Search the HCSO integration by name. Open Read More, compare the inmate ID and booked date, and note the check time and exact IN or OUT label.
- Use the person-specific Notify Me of Status Change action. Confirm that the resulting VINELink record identifies HCSO and the same person.
- Search the Hendry Clerk criminal docket by case number when possible. Look for the actual bond, dismissal, sentence, commitment, or other order that explains the legal basis.
- Submit a narrow HCSO public-record request for everyone whose custody ended between the two exact Eastern timestamps. Ask for the release time, disposition, and public transfer destination.
- If the record shows a transfer, check the receiving agency. Use FDC for a Florida prison commitment, ICE ODLS for immigration detention, or the named jail's official tool.
This sequence avoids treating a status change as more than it proves. A court order can explain why release was authorized, but it may not record the minute the person left the jail. The jail event supplies physical custody timing. Used together, the two records provide a sound same-day result.

Request Hendry 24-Hour Records
Florida's GS2 schedule, Item 22, describes a Commitment and Release List as a 24-hour list that may contain the date, booking number, name, charge, court, bond, manner of release, and return date. The schedule sets a minimum retention period of one anniversary year after release for that record series. It does not prove that HCSO posts such a report online or keeps every optional field in one database table.
Use the HCSO public-record request gateway and ask for “the Commitment and Release List or electronic report of persons whose HCSO custody ended between [start timestamp] and [end timestamp], Eastern time.” Add the booking number, actual release date and time, how released, and public receiving-agency field. Chapter 119 permits a request without giving a reason. Ask for electronic delivery and an advance estimate. HCSO does not publish a fixed fee or fixed response deadline for this exact report.

Default charges under section 119.07 can include up to 15 cents for a one-sided page, 5 cents more for a two-sided page, actual duplication cost for other media, up to $1 for certification, and a reasonable special-service charge for extensive work. An agency-specific charge can apply, so a cost estimate matters.
When the exact legal cause also matters, use the Hendry Clerk's court-record gateway and request the controlling order. Search by case number when possible. A docket can separate bond, dismissal, probation, time served, or an FDC commitment, while the HCSO report supplies the actual custody-end time. Neither record should be forced to answer the other agency's part of the event.
Transportation After Hendry Release

The local route network may help after release, but it should never be described as part of the jail's release process.
Why Hendry OUT Records Persist
HCSO's mixed list is unusual. During the research snapshot, an OUT detail with a 2025 booked date remained searchable in July 2026. That observation proves that at least some records can remain visible far beyond 24 or 72 hours. It does not establish a fixed archive term, and it does not turn the page into a rolling release feed.
Old visibility can help locate an inmate ID and booking date. It cannot establish which records have disappeared or why. Website display time is also not the legal retention period. Booking records, commitment-and-release lists, and inmate incarceration records have schedule rules that apply to the underlying agency records, not a promise that every card stays online.
Note: A missing card is inconclusive because spelling, feed timing, legal restrictions, or web retention may affect the result.
Hendry Sheriff App Limits
HCSO also offers a county-specific mobile app. The official app gateway routes users to the current Apple and Android listings. That official connection makes the app a valid HCSO access channel. The store descriptions reviewed for this project did not verify a distinct recent-release module, a 24-hour filter, or a separate inmate-photo feature.
The captured gateway identifies the correct local app, but the installed version must be checked before relying on any menu label. The confirmed notification path remains the person-specific VINELink action on the HCSO inmate record.
Use the app as another doorway to sheriff information, not as proof that a same-day release feed exists.
Hendry Release Versus Custody
A person marked IN remains in HCSO custody. A person marked OUT has left that custody, but may not have gone home. A transfer to FDC, another county, BOP, or ICE begins a new custody path. For a state prison commitment, use the FDC Corrections Offender Network and the six-character DC number. For civil immigration detention, use ICE's detainee locator or reporting line.
VINELink supplies operational status and alerts, not a certified release report. The Clerk docket supplies legal orders, not always the walk-out time. HCSO's release or movement record joins those facts by stating when local custody ended and, when public, where the person went.
