Search Hendry County Released Inmates

Hendry County released inmates can remain visible in local custody records after leaving the jail, but each system answers a different question. A search for Hendry County released inmates begins with the sheriff's status record, then follows court, corrections, notification, or transfer records as the facts require. Hendry County released inmates who entered state prison are tracked apart from ordinary county-jail releases. Federal and immigration custody also have separate tools. The release record supplies the exact time, type, and destination when the public web status does not.

Hendry County Release Records

Hendry County release information is a group of related records, not one universal certificate. The HCSO inmate integration can establish identity, booked time, allegations, bond data, and an IN or OUT custody state. The jail's internal movement or release report can supply the actual exit time and recorded disposition. A Hendry Clerk docket can show the legal order. FDC, BOP, ICE, or another jail becomes responsible when custody moves to a new agency.

The safest statement from an HCSO OUT result is that the person was no longer in HCSO custody when the system reflected that status. It does not prove that bond was posted, a sentence ended, charges were dismissed, or the person went home. A transfer counts as an exit from the county jail but not release to the community. The next custodian must be checked.

Release
Departure from a specific custody, which may be to the community or another agency.
Discharge
The end of a sentence or supervision status as recorded by the responsible agency.
Time served
A sentence satisfied by custody credit, when the court record actually states it.
Detainer
A request or authority that can lead another agency to take custody after the first custody ends.

Hendry County Release Types

The same HCSO OUT label can follow several different events. The court order and jail movement record determine which event occurred. Charges remain accusations unless resolved by the court, and a listed bond amount is not proof that payment or release occurred.

Release or movementWhat it meansWhere to verify next
Bond or recognizanceThe person leaves jail while the case remains pending, with terms set by the court.Hendry Clerk docket and HCSO release event
Pretrial supervisionThe person is outside the jail under court-ordered local monitoring.Clerk order and Twentieth Circuit Pretrial Services
Time served or sentence endThe local term ends as directed by the judgment and applicable credit.Judgment, sentence, and HCSO release record
Dismissal or court releaseA court action changes the legal authority for custody.Filed order and jail exit record
FDC commitmentThe person leaves HCSO for Florida state correctional custody.FDC record and DC number
Agency or ICE transferHCSO custody ends while another authority takes control.Receiving jail, ICE ODLS, BOP, or named agency

A later term of parole, probation, or conditional release means the person may be outside a prison while still under legal supervision. Final discharge from that supervision is another milestone and should not be confused with the prison gate date.

Hendry Release Record Fields

The observed HCSO page does not publish every field needed to explain a release. A focused request should tie the web entry to the agency's custody-movement data. The inmate ID, booking date, and full name help the custodian find the right event.

FieldWhat it shows
HCSO inmate IDThe local identifier associated with the custody entry.
Booked date and timeThe start timestamp shown for the booking, not the release time.
Custody StatusIN or OUT at the time reflected by the HCSO integration.
Actual release date and timeThe physical end of HCSO custody, obtained from the release or movement record.
Release disposition or typeThe agency's recorded manner of exit when maintained and public.
Receiving agencyThe public destination for a transfer, when applicable.
Case numberThe link to the Clerk docket, court order, judgment, or sentence.

An HCSO charge code and description document the allegation connected with the booking. They do not establish a conviction. Likewise, a photograph documents the booking record, not the person's current custody or the result of the case.

Note: Copy each agency's exact date and status label because projected, actual, and supervision-end dates mean different things.

Request Hendry Release Records

Use the HCSO Public Records Request gateway for a booking sheet, jail custody or release report, release date and time, recorded disposition, public transfer notation, and booking photograph. A clear request identifies the full name, HCSO inmate ID if known, and booked date. It asks for existing records, not an open-ended explanation.

  1. Record the exact HCSO name, inmate ID, booked date, and custody label.
  2. Ask for the booking and custody-movement or release record tied to that entry.
  3. Specify actual release date and time, recorded release type, and public receiving-agency information.
  4. Request electronic delivery and an advance itemized estimate if charges will exceed a chosen amount.
  5. Ask the Hendry Clerk for the dispositive order when the legal basis matters.

Florida Chapter 119 does not require a requester to state a purpose. HCSO guidance also says a request need not identify the requester or be in writing. Section 119.07 permits standard copy charges and a reasonable special-service charge for extensive work. HCSO does not publish a fixed fee or a fixed production time for this exact release record, so ask for an estimate and avoid promising a deadline.

The captured HCSO records gateway shows the official path used for release and booking requests.

The portal route is important when a public OUT record lacks the actual release time, reason, or destination.

Hendry Release Record Law

Article I, section 24 of the Florida Constitution and Chapter 119 establish Florida's broad public-record framework. Florida Statute section 119.07 requires reasonable inspection and copying and a prompt, good-faith response. If an exemption applies, the agency must identify its legal basis and produce nonexempt portions when possible.

Public web display is not the retention rule. Florida's GS2 schedule describes commitment-and-release lists, booking records, and inmate incarceration records with minimum periods that extend at least one anniversary year after release. Jail docket books have a permanent schedule. Litigation, audits, or other duties can extend retention. A vanished web card therefore does not prove that the underlying record was destroyed.

Sealing and expungement require the applicable FDLE and court process under Florida law. A certificate of eligibility is not itself a sealing or expungement order. Juvenile material, victim information, active investigative content, security information, and other protected records can also limit access. If a search produces no public result, report only that no result was found.

Find Hendry County Releases

A custody-specific sequence prevents the most common errors. Start where the Hendry event occurred. If the person was booked at the county jail, begin with HCSO. If the court committed the person to state prison, follow the DC number into FDC. Federal and immigration paths should be used only when the case or transfer record supports them.

  1. Search HCSO by name. Open the detail and record the exact custody label, inmate ID, booked time, and check time.
  2. Follow HCSO's person-specific VINELink action. Confirm the agency and identity before using the status or registering for updates.
  3. Search the Hendry Clerk court portal by case number or party name. Read the latest docket events and the actual order where available.
  4. Use FDC when the record shows a Florida state commitment or state supervision. Use the six-character DC number when available.
  5. Use BOP for a federal sentence, ICE ODLS for immigration detention, or the official receiving-jail tool for a transfer.
  6. When online sources do not resolve the event, request the HCSO release record and the Clerk's controlling order.
Off the roster does not equal free: A local release can be a transfer, and no search result can reflect spelling, timing, retention, or legal access limits.

Hendry Sheriff OUT Records

The HCSO integration is more useful than a current-only jail roster because it retains at least some OUT records. The list presents names, images, detail links, and status-notification actions. The detail can show physical descriptors, booked time, charges, bond entries, and the custody state. During the research snapshot, the list contained both IN and OUT entries.

The official inmate search shown below demonstrates the mixed-status design.

The layout helps locate a person who has left HCSO, yet it offers no labeled 24-hour or 72-hour feed and no stated release timestamp. The current Hendry 24-hour release route explains how to request an exact same-day report without treating booked time as release time.

FDC Hendry Release Search

FDC's Corrections Offender Network covers felony offenders sentenced to Florida state prison or state supervision. It expressly excludes ordinary county jail, county probation, and other non-FDC cases. A short Hendry jail stay can end in OUT without producing any FDC record. Conversely, a person who leaves HCSO for FDC remains incarcerated even though the local status changed.

The FDC Inmate Release Information Search accepts first name, last name, or a six-character DC number, supports alias searching, and offers photo controls. Prefix name matching can return variants. The release database covers people already released or scheduled for release and updates nightly. A past Release Date and incarceration-history out event are historical. A future date is scheduled, not proof of release.

Search fieldHow to use it
DC numberBest identifier; enter the six-character FDC number.
Last and first nameFDC uses beginning-of-text matching, so verify all returned identifiers.
Alias optionBroadens the name search when the record may use another committed name.
Photo controlsChange result display, not the underlying identity record.

Hendry Release Alerts and BOP

VINELink is part of the local HCSO workflow. Every observed sheriff inmate card offered a person-specific Notify Me of Status Change action, and the underlying integration identified Florida Southwest VINE. Open the matched record, confirm Hendry County Sheriff's Office and the person's identifiers, then choose the available custody-change notification. Phone registration uses a PIN to acknowledge repeated calls. Email, text, and web options depend on the live interface. Call 1-877-846-3435 for Florida VINE help.

A VINE event is operational notice, not a certified release record. For a federal sentence, use the BOP Inmate Locator by name or federal identifier. BOP results can supply a release date and a released or not-in-BOP-custody result, generally for federal prisoners from 1982 forward. That result says nothing about later HCSO, Florida, or ICE custody. Federal pretrial prisoners may instead remain under U.S. Marshals Service authority without a comparable nationwide public name locator.

Hendry Court Release Orders

Hendry County lies in Florida's Twentieth Judicial Circuit. Circuit Court handles felonies, while County Court handles misdemeanors and criminal traffic matters. The Hendry Clerk's CiviTek Online Court Records Search can be queried by case number or party name. A criminal docket may show a bond order, dismissal, judgment, sentence, jail credit, probation, commitment, warrant, or supervision termination.

The portal says its online material is informational rather than authoritative. Use it to locate the case number, order date, and document, then obtain an official or certified copy from the Clerk when exact wording matters. A case can remain open after a person leaves on bond. A closed case also does not necessarily state the jail's physical exit time.

The Hendry Clerk records gateway shown here routes users to the court-search service.

The court file explains legal authority, while the HCSO custody record supplies the actual movement time.

Travel After Hendry Release

Hendry-Glades Transportation System publishes a LaBelle Circular and a LaBelle, Clewiston, and Moore Haven express route. Door-to-door service requires 48-hour advance registration. Rider information is available at (877) 935-4487 and hgts@hendryfla.net. These facts can help plan local travel after a confirmed community release.

The transit source does not establish a jail-door stop, same-day ride, or transport provided by HCSO. Confirm the route and time before relying on it. If the person transferred to another custodian, release-area transportation is not the right next step.

Hendry Release Property Pickup

HCSO publishes a dedicated Property Pickup page, which confirms that the agency has a channel for this issue. The page does not state visible hours, identification rules, an authorization process, or a pickup deadline. No general rule from another Florida county should be substituted for those missing facts.

Call the jail at (863) 674-5600 and ask how property is returned during release or collected later. Confirm what identification or authorization is required and where the pickup occurs. A release record does not by itself answer the property procedure.

Note: HCSO publishes no release exit door, routine release hour, family waiting area, or guaranteed processing time.

Hendry OUT to ICE Custody

The HCSO-ICE Warrant Service Officer memorandum is release-triggered. It says ICE assumes custody only after HCSO criminal custody ends and describes a limited hold for the transfer. As a result, a Hendry inmate can appear locally OUT while moving into civil immigration detention. That is not community release and not a criminal conviction.

Search the ICE Online Detainee Locator System with the nine-digit A-number and country of birth, or exact biographical information. The ICE reporting line at 1-888-351-4024 is the fallback. Request the HCSO release or transfer record to connect the end of local custody with the receiving authority. Nearby Glades County facilities are outside Hendry and should be named only if a record points there.

Former Hendry Prison Records

Hendry Correctional Institution is closed and is absent from FDC's current institution directory. It cannot confirm a current discharge. A person once housed there must be searched by name or DC number in the statewide FDC network. The county now has one operating adult county detention facility identified in the research, the HCSO jail campus in LaBelle.

This distinction prevents an old institution name from becoming a dead end. FDC central records preserves the state-person path regardless of which institution once held the prisoner. Current Hendry County jail exits remain HCSO records unless the person transfers into the state system.

Hendry Release Source Comparison

The correct source follows the custody type. Current jail status, local release, state discharge, federal release, and immigration transfer should never be treated as interchangeable.
